Q: What is the financial support for SMEs providing training programme?

The project provides you with a financial support for the training that you might offer to the new recruited participants in the project and, eventually, existing SME workers. There are no specific duration requirements, however you have to offer a realistic training plan to achieve the participants expected learning outcomes. The maximum amount for financial support for training programme cost per candidate is capped at EUR 1.500,00. To be eligible for the financial contribution provided by the EURES TMS, any training programme offered to newly recruited participants must: - have started, be carried out and completed within the duration of the action - comply with the principle of sound financial management, regarding economy and efficiency - have at least started when claiming the financial support. Both in-company and/or external training may be accepted.

Q: I have hired a worker/trainee/apprentice through the project and would like to offer him/her a training programme. Can I benefit from financial support from the project?

Yes, the project offers a financial support to cover the costs of a training programme both for candidates recruited through the project and existing SME workers in need of specialised training to fill skills gaps and address labour shortages. NB: Under no circumstances this financial support can be claimed for existing SME workers only. The training programme cost per candidate is capped at 1.500,00 EUR.

Q: I would like to invite a candidate to a job interview in the city where my company/organisation is based: how can I do that?

You must invite him/her through the platform. If it is an onsite interview, there is a financial contribution that varies according to the days spent in the city where the interview is held and the distance. To offer this benefit to the candidate, it is necessary to fill in the Job Interview invitation form available in your dashboard.

Q: I have already identified a European worker that I would like to hire. Can I benefit from EURES TMS financial support?

You can register on the platform and a project Adviser will support you. Note that, if you have already signed the contract, the following must be considered: - priority should always be given to candidates registered with EURES TMS projects before receiving a work placement offer, and where matching and recruitment between job seeker and employer took place through the project. - t he EURES TMS Team may nevertheless accept to grant placements from other sources on condition that the necessary quality check rules apply, and they take full control of the placement process. The project Adviser/Team shall assess each situation on a case-by-case basis to ensure that the conditions for claiming funding have been fulfilled.
